Ash Wastes Mutants - 3D sketch.

It looks like my last post was fairly fruitful; 40k skirmish fever has taken hold at the club and some of us will be rolling on with an Ash Wastes Necromunda campaign later this year. I've started roughly tacking some things together whilst I figure out an aesthetic for my gang. Here's a sneak peak of some rough ideas:

  1. I "really" have to get one of those Ogre beasties. That model is just packed with presence.

The mutie-looking figs are great starts - where's the little one's body from?

  3. Cheers guys. Yeah, I'm looking forward to having some fun with this lot. The ash wastes are a really fertile setting for inspiration, hence the Wodaabe video from last night.

The little chap is a Gnoblar with a zombie head; it works quite well, doesn't it?

  10. I know you posted this a while back, but I had to mention how great an idea it is!

The Kroot / Flagellant bits-mash concept is bizzare, but in the best way possible!

    1. Oh, thanks - yeah, it works quite nicely. WHFB ghoul torsos also work really well on Kroot legs if you want something a bit more upright than the standard ghouls.
